You’ll also find excellent seafood options at Lobster Claw on Main Street. For dessert, head to Ryers Store, a quaint, old-fashioned general store serving ice cream, fresh sandwiches, and other tasty treats. 

Take the kids to Cowabunga's Indoor Kids Play & Party Center when you've finished your meal. This soft play area has inflatable slides and climbing walls. You can take a break from the action at Hillview Country Club, an exclusive golf and event venue with an award-winning course.
 

Things to Do

North Reading residents enjoy excellent natural areas. Ipswich River Park is a local favorite for its walking trails, skate park, and lovely playground. The park is also home to the weekly farmers market held every summer. Eisenhaures Pond Park is another local spot perfect for a weekend stroll, and the pond there is excellent for fishing. Afterward, explore North Reading’s rich history at Reverend Daniel Putnam House, a historic site built in 1720. 

North Reading hosts numerous community events throughout the year, including North Reading Town Day in early fall, which features carnival games, pony rides, and other activities. You won’t want to miss Oktoberfest at Hopothecary Ales Brewery and Kitchen, a well-attended event featuring German cuisine and beer.
